Unleash Your Inner Flamenca is dedicated to all the women of the world and it does not mean that you have to be flamenco or dedicate yourself to the world of dance. It is an expression, it is a way of facing the setbacks that life gives us and because flamenco has that attitude of: Here I am!

Unleashing my inner Flamenca has helped me in many very extreme situations in my life and, not only technically speaking as a flamenco professional, but in those times that I didn't have to be dancing, or teaching, or competing, or performing on stage. I’m talking about everyday life.

That is why you too can bring out your inner Flamenca.

A flamenca woman is confident, a flamenca woman is sure of herself, has gravitas, has bearing, has wisdom and knows how to be in command.

In other words, unleash your inner Flamenca and join me in this adventure in which we are going to have a great time! We know how it starts and we don't know how it ends, but it is sure to be one of the most unforgettable experiences of your life.

"I have suffered more than 10 workplace harassment of very famous people from the world of show business".

A I’m going to tell you how I brought out the flamenco that I have in extreme situations and that I hope and serve to help some woman to do the same as me.

For now I'm only going to use nicknames.

4. The powerful woman and intimidating singer.

Andalucía Day was about to celebrate in a luxury hotel in Madrid, where the most famous singer of her genre that Spain has had would perform.

A guitarist who always performed with her and who at that time we worked a lot together on tours around the world, called me to see if I was interested in finding ten dancers, to put together the choreography of the main theme of the show.

We meet at the Villa of the Powerful to sign the contract, and talk about the wardrobe, etc.

When she told me that the dancers had to wear a bullfighter's hat...and how ugly they are! I told her that there was no problem, but that I was the choreographer and main dancer and that I would be wearing a Andalucía hat. The Diva was not amused by my answer but I noticed that she looked at me in a way that a woman had never looked at me before. Exactly the way a man looks at you. Although being married and with her husband in front of me, I did not give it importance.

I have always charged in advance and this time there were eleven of us and I had more responsibility.

But the guitarist told me not to worry because after the show, The Powerful’s brother would pay me without any problem.

After performing I was waiting for more than an hour for all the guests, friends, press and TV to leave the dressing room, I knocked on the door and the manager opened it for me. I expected to see the envelope on the table with the amount agreed in the contract, but I looked around and saw nothing. When the Mighty One sucked her little finger, she put it in her brother's nose to see if there were any traces of substances, which of course she found by the gesture she made, and she invited him to leave the dressing room and gave orders that he should stay at the door and making sure no one entered or disturbed. I was amazed and didn't know what to do, because I wanted to get paid and the dancers were waiting for me.

Suddenly the Mighty One, sitting on her throne, turns to me and asks me if I like the dresses that were hanging. I said yes and as she approached me, in an intimidating way she told me to get naked and try them on to give me one.

She stroked my neck, tried to kiss me, told me that no one was going to come in and that later I could go home with them, that her husband was fighting and that his manager would pay me right there.

At that moment I unleash the inner flamenca and very gently removed the hair from her neck saying in her ear from diva to diva; First pay me, I know that here is the envelope with the money of the girls who are waiting for me outside and it is not convenient for anyone to know ... I will be back in a minute and then I will undress and I will make you the happiest woman in the world first here and then at your house.

Surprisingly, she liked it as much as I told her, that she took the envelope out of her bag, took my hand with the force of a man, and threatened me saying that if I did not come back I would not dance again.

Of course I never went back! I never told anyone one more time, for fear that they would not believe me and that my artistic career would be affected.

ADVICE: Sometimes it is better to make them believe that you are going to do what they are asking for , especially if there is someone at the door watching and you are in a lockdown. And then you will be free to run away.

TODAY: I would have had my mobile in silence and in video mode and recorded everything to report it to the media.

«The students do not want to miss the opportunity to study with me. When they start to study my technique they are hooked at the first second. Those who play sports and take care of themselves immediately identify with my stretching and feel safer for the rest of the class and those who don’t appreciate it and will surely start practicing it and taking care of themselves forever »
~ Esther Ponce

This year Esther thought that her Angel would be very busy due to the current pandemic situation and also that it would be a coincidence that another year happened.

But to Esther’s surprise it was like that and without doubt the most special flamenco toast for England.

After the experience of teaching classes with a mask? A private flamenco class for two hours without stopping, does Esther remember that when she and the student went out into the street they breathed for two seconds as if there were no tomorrow?According to Esther’s recent experience, with the mask you cannot see the total expression of the student, but the eyes also speak and flamenco is also expressed with the body.

With all the safety measures, the student disinfected her shoes, put hydroalcoholic gel on her hands, a temperature control was performed with a non-contact forehead thermometer and the student did not remove her mask during the two hours, only in the changing room that she only used to drink water.

“Now I can present my Experimental Flamenco to the director of Tourism of Valencia and let him roll with the little ham :)”
