4. The powerful woman and intimidating singer.

A I’m going to tell you how I brought out the flamenco that I have in extreme situations and that I hope and serve to help some woman to do the same as me.

4. La cantante poderosa e intimidante
Andalucía Day was about to celebrate in a luxury hotel in Madrid, where the most famous singer of her genre that Spain has had would perform.

After performing I was waiting for more than an hour for all the guests, friends, press and TV to leave the dressing room, I knocked on the door and the manager opened it for me. I expected to see the envelope on the table with the amount agreed in the contract, but I looked around and saw nothing. I was amazed and didn't know what to do, because I wanted to get paid and the dancers were waiting for me.

She stroked my neck, tried to kiss me, told me that no one was going to come in and that later I could go home with them, that her husband was fighting and that his manager would pay me right there.
At that moment I unleash the inner flamenca and very gently removed the hair from her neck saying in her ear from diva to diva; First pay me, I know that here is the envelope with the money of the girls who are waiting for me outside and it is not convenient for anyone to know ... I will be back in a minute and then I will undress and I will make you the happiest woman in the world first here and then at your house.
Surprisingly, she liked it as much as I told her, that she took the envelope out of her bag, took my hand with the force of a man, and threatened me saying that if I did not come back I would not dance again.
Of course I never went back! I never told anyone one more time, for fear that they would not believe me and that my artistic career would be affected.
