I will remember all my life a student from the Philippines, who had suffered a personal misfortune and came to Madrid to take classes with me. She took five or six private classes a day with me, and that is not normal.<\/p>

One day after class I told her that if she needed to talk, please do not hesitate to tell me. And that I would help her in whatever way she needed.<\/p>

When I asked her the reason she was studying so many hours. She told me that she was able to let go so much with me, that she felt like she was in a dream from which she did not want to wake up. And that she did not care about money, because her husband had a lot of money. On their wedding night they had traveled to an island to start their honeymoon.<\/p>

They got up very early and went diving. Her husband put on his equipment, sat on the edge of the boat, gave her a kiss and said I\u2019ll come right back up. He threw himself back into the water. But he never came back up.<\/p>

Hearing that woman cry -so young and so beautiful on the outside and inside, it tore at my soul; it was heartbreaking. How that woman could be feeling at that moment, all that joy snatched away by life itself ... then she extended her hands to me as if it were a ritual and handed me some Filipino pearls, natural, wild, precious and full of love, and that I still keep.<\/p>

Also, at that time we had a nanny in my house, also Filipina, who lived with us for more than 20 years and I knew a little bit of Tagalog, which is the language spoken in Manila and has a lot of Spanish vocabulary.<\/p>

Though, thanks to knowing English, I was able to communicate with my student perfectly and I got more than one smile from her and, above all and most importantly, got her to bring out her inner flamenca, to help her overcome some of life\u2019s setbacks.<\/p>

Never forget that ONLY YOU can take the first step ... she bought a ticket to Spain to get out of a nightmare and start a new chapter in her life.<\/p>

But the most incredible thing of all is that a month later she wrote to me telling me that her husband had made her pregnant on her wedding night and that it was a boy!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
